Trauma: Shifts Without Explanation

A way to view trauma is that it is a shift in life without explanation. The shift(s) happens and the expectation is to just live on, or at least that’s what everyone else is doing. This community building opportunity seeks to normalize trauma and share helpful avenues of caring for ourselves and others. Diagnostically speaking, trauma is cynical and itemized. Clinician speaking, trauma is scary, powerful, intense. According to those impacted, trauma appears and wears a spectrum of dress and expression. Let’s get acquainted!
