The word disorder developed within a system of power that was based on the powerful doing the ordering while the powerless became disordered, and I prefer to share in the re-ordering process. I view counseling as a way, not the way, to help ourselves re-order based on what you and I value.
Community building, also known as consultation, includes activities and interactions where we come together and imagine ways to get where you want to head. Whether a business, non-profit, group of nurses, team of combat vets, sexual assault survivors, [insert identity here], I am interested in helping us reach your goals by way of discovering together.

Community building appears as presentations, workshops, community facilitation, consultation and organizational re-structuring to a name a few. The topics I share about include mental, emotional and behavioral aspects of humanity. Topics that others and I have shared include: mood to personality disorders, sexual assault, racial identity, war & combat, spirituality, military families, memory, pain, therapeutic interventions, and blended families.
